In the video, allegedly shot in Kerala, an old woman is seen holding a chain of firecrackers and moving from one place to another as firecrackers burst around her. A woman, dressed in a saree, performs this daring act in a public place, even as some onlookers watch her.
This video was posted online on March 13 by the popular Instagram page that goes by the username @evershining_media. So far, she has collected thousands of likes. Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “Super Amma!” Another person jokingly wrote, “Ammachi has no ears and no eyes. Then even if you give an atomic bomb, it will be exploded 😝😝😝.”
This is not the only video from Kerala that shows elderly women doing adventurous tasks. In February, there was a video of a A 67-year-old woman who does adventure sports went viral. A video shared online by Instagram user Shy Nu (@yathrikan_200) shows an elderly woman, clad in a saree, unflinchingly riding a roped bicycle like it’s the most casual thing in the world.
