A person who died after an accident

A woman has died in a crash involving a van and two pedestrians in Caerphilly. The incident happened along Nantgarw Road on Friday, March 17 at around 7.50pm. Gwent Police say the second pedestrian, a man, is in a critical condition in hospital.

Police said a 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of four traffic offenses and remains in custody for questioning. An appeal has been launched for witnesses who may have any information about the incident to help the investigation.

Crash on the A470

There was an RTC on the A470 at the Abercynon roundabout.
