SALT LAKE CITY – There may be over a week left until Super Bowl LVII, but in the meantime Utah fans can cheer on former Utes quarterback Tyler Huntley in the NFL’s newly-reformatted Pro Bowl Games. Huntley, in his third NFL season with the Baltimore Ravens, was named to the AFC roster on Tuesday.
Pro Bowl festivities begin from Las Vegas on Thursday night, February 2, with the Pro Bowl Skills Show at 5 pm MT on ESPN. The big weekend wraps up with the Pro Bowl Games on Sunday, February 5 at 1 pm MT, also on ESPN.

Huntley earns his first Pro Bowl nod after starting Baltimore’s final five games of the season, helping the Ravens reach Super Wild Card weekend. In that Wild Card matchup against Cincinnati, he was 17-of-29 passing for 226 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.
During the 2022 regular season, the former Pac-12 All-Conference First Team pick threw for 658 yards (75-of-112) with two touchdowns. He started 33 games at Utah between 2016 and ’19, with his 23 wins under center ranking third-most in Utah history.
Looking Back at Conference Championship Weekend
Two former Utes lined up on opposite sides during last weekend’s NFC Championship game, while two more were in coaching roles during the AFC and NFC title contests.
Britain Covey saw time primarily on the Philadelphia Eagles’ punt return unit, also lining up at wide receiver on two snaps as the Eagles punched a ticket to Super Bowl LVII. He logged three fair catches on punts booted by former Utah teammate and now San Francisco punter Mitch Wishnowsky.
Covey will be joined next Sunday at State Farm Stadium by quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson; the former three-year starter and two-time bowl MVP with the Utes is currently in his second year on the Eagles’ coaching staff.
Johnson will be met on the opposing sideline by Alex Whittingham, who is winding down his fifth season with the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs and fourth as the club’s defensive quality control coach.
